Finally I’ve posted instructions

26th January 2006

I finally got round to document the modifications made to integrate WP-Qdig in this way. And as previously promised (warned?) it includes a small rant.

If you have any trouble with the instructions please post comments on my main blog or email me. Thanks!

What’s this site about?

18th November 2005

This is a demo site, showing how QDIG via the QDIG-WP plugin can be integrated seemlessly with the default theme of WordPress. I searched high and low for a gallery that will let me do what is being demonstrated and what in my opinion should be part of the basic functionality of WordPress itself.

I’ll post a little more on why I choose this solution and the minor tweaks I made to make it fit better on my main blog when I have a spare half an hour. You’ll probably have to suffer a small rant along with the explanations though :P

Finally thanks to David B. Nagle for the QDIG-WP Plugin and his excellent forums and Hagan Fox for QDIG itself. If you find the combination useful please consider donating a little.

I’ve never been to Universal Studios Japan even though it is only 20 minutes away. These photos were taken by my good friend Ruby when she came to visit from Hong Kong.

Photos taken in July 2005. Summer is definitely not the best season to visit Dubai. The yellow character is called Modhesh and is the Dubai’s children’s mascot. Oh and the Blue and Yellow sign is Ikea!

These photos are a selection from the Luminaire Christmas lights in Kobe. The lights are an annual memorial to those who died in the Kobe Earthquake in 1995.

Some photos from Okinawa, Japan taken last December (2004). I constantly miss Okinawa, my friends there and the lovely lovely beaches.
